• Identification of potentials for improvement of resource efficiency and process efficiency.
  • Identification of “Low Hanging Fruits”
  • The “Initial Advice” is the base of most of MMCIs consulting services identifying resource savings without changing technologies and processes and identifying the cause of resource losses.

    Technologies

Focus is the usage and maintenance of technologies, production planning and identification of resource losses at the technologies.

    Processes

Identification of weak points in processes, workflows and organization of processes.

  • First evaluation of saving potentials
  • Development of appropriate improvement measures
  • The identified potentials of “Initial Advice” are quantitative and monetary evaluated on base of available company data (usage, losses, waste, …).

Experts of MMCI develop in cooperation with responsible company representative and involved employees appropriate improvement/saving measures in order to consider company specific conditions. These are described and summarized in an action report.

The action report is the base for the action planning. The responsible company project manager sets priorities for the suggested measures. The prioritized measures get on a implementation list including responsibilities, needed resources, budget and deadlines.

  • Coaching and handholding of responsible project person at implementatio
  • Support at problems of the implementation
  • Measure monitoring & controlling
  • Project (action) management
  • Problems at the implementation are coming up through distraction of daily business, influences on other processes, insufficient creativity and innovation at implementation, missing of detailed data and information at action planning.

These problems result in no implementation of easy low cost measures, which are supposed to pay off economically and reduce the impacts on environment and climate.

Instead of that projects with big investments are initiated to install more productive and efficient technologies or costly technologies treating waste and emissions.

These technologies don’t contribute to avoid losses, waste & emissions and cause additional cost, which should be covered by additional revenues out of selling of treated waste & emissions what they are not able to. For realisation of identified savings and improvements we coach the implementation of agreed measures and support you systematic and at solving problems of implementation.

  • Resource concept (energy, raw material, waste, …)
  • Development and introduction of a simple resource management (planning, procurement, stock, consumption, waste, dispose, monitoring, controlling)
  • Implementation of resource and environmental controlling
  • Implementation of management systems according ISO norms:
    • 9001 (quality management)
    • 14001 (environmental management)
    • OSHAS 18000 (health & savety)
    • 50001 (energy management)
    • Ecoprofit projects

    Resource concept

Resource concepts include procurement, demand, quality, logistics, user, storage, production, treatment & disposal of resources for existing companies or for future company systems.

The concept provides better understanding of the structures, allocation, consumption, waste management and provides better scope for design at resource planning through recognition of bottlenecks and problems.

    Ressource Management

Resource management supports efficient input of used resources in the company processes. In general the focus is on economic, ecologic & for production most important resources.

In some cases laws and regulations bind companies to document, monitor and organize efficient consumption of hazardous materials. With resource management you can comply such duties.

The starting point of resource management is the resource concept including the actual structures. It documents consumption and supports efficient input of the resource. The documentation makes frequent analyses of the consumption possible, which show weak points, losses and misuse at consumption.

It provides the possibility of identification of saving and improvement potentials. By developing suitable indicators constant overview of consumption and efficiency is ensured.

    Management Systems

Management systems provide continuous improvement through systematic procedures. Managements systems are characterized through documentation of the system including the organization structure, process instructions, work instructions, processes, competences and responsibilities.

Focus at the implementation of a management system is to document what is actual reality in the company. Missing structures and processes have to be implemented according the specific requirements of the company.

Normed processes as continuous improvement, environmental check and audit are core processes of management systems but in general not standard processes in companies.

Working and living of these processes have to be trained extra when not trained at the implementation. Additional trainings in practical knowledge, which have not been conveyed during implementation, have to be carried out.

It is recommended to eliminate weak points with projects as “ECOPROFIT” or “Resource Efficient Cleaner Production”. These projects focus on the implementation and the outcome of these processes. These projects realize the theoretical objectives of management systems and makes a management system living.

A living management system is a valuable tool for the success and profit of the company, which can be observed in the improving resource and financial indicators.

ECOPROFIT® & „Resource Efficient Cleaner Production“ (RECP) Projects

The base of ECOPROFIT are the topics of RECP and focusses in a first step on saving and improvement potentials with low or small investments. In a second step, when existing technologies don’t have saving or improvement potentials any more, measures with investments are suggested.

10 to 15 companies may take part at a ECOPRFIT project. The project is built on 3 pillars and lasts upto 1 year:

  • Trainings & workshops for company participants
  • Individual consulting
  • Certification of companies having significant improvements or implemented important measures for project targets
  • ECOPROFIT® is a group project for up to 15 companies positioned in a specific region. Positioning is done through the project executing organization/ project facilitator/ promoter as like local governments, cities or associations, who have advantages out of the company resource savings in the region.

  • Actual overview on resource consumption and efficiency
  • Transparency on resource consumption and efficiency
  • Simple & clear tool for decisions
  • Relevant data and infomations for decisions
  • Business decisions are made on base of data and information of the company and the market. These can be business reports, market forecast, Information of the financial market, production and cost reports, financial indicators and their analysis. Summarized are these in the controlling of a company.

IIn the field of environment and resource efficiency environmental reports, resource and efficiency indicators are prepared, which enlarge the base of management decisions. This information is summarized in the environmental controlling. Decisions based on this additional information lead to economic success.

We develop a resource and environmental controlling adjusted to your organization/company. It delivers in defined time periods crucial Information about your used resoureces, consumption & losses and so about the efficiency of the resource input.

  • Topic and problem solving workshops
  • Theory & case studies
  • Networking with participating companies and their representatives
  • For all company levels
  • Contents of workshops and trainings are matched with the needs of our clients.

In ECOPROFIT projects are the contents already fixed, which are the base for implementation of improvement measures.

    Workshops about defined topics

Workshops are split in theoretical input, presentation of case studies, practical exercises according to the defined topics.

In ECOPROFIT and RECP projects the workshops are supplemented with a “Feedback Round” about implementation of improvement actions and “Homework” for the company representatives. The homework includes clear defined tasks to be carried out or measures have to be implemented till the next workshop. Success or problems at the homework will be discussed in the Feedback round. This is the time where we give support in solving the problems at the implementation.

    Project and result orientated workshops

Content and tools of these workshops are defined through the tasks and objectives of the project.

Workshops are moderated according the “Whole Person Process Facilitation” method (WPPF), which Birgitt Williams further developed to the “Geniue Contact Way”.

WPPF activates your own energy / the energy of the participant to learn and to facilitate your own not known potentials. With this method set objectives can be reached easier and faster.

We work as partner, consultant, coach & trainer in project
